Notifications

Transparency Hub Network sends automated email notifications at key points in the membership lifecycle. You can customize templates for each stage.

Notification Types

Application Stage

  • Application Received — Sent to the applicant upon submission
  • Application Approved — Sent when an admin approves the application
  • Application Rejected — Sent with an optional reason for rejection
  • Action Required — Reminder for incomplete application steps

Expiration & Renewal

  • Renewal Reminder — Sent based on the reminder frequency configured on the membership type (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly)
  • Membership Expired — Sent when the membership lapses
  • Renewal Successful — Confirmation after successful renewal payment

Payment

  • Payment Receipt — Sent after each successful payment
  • Payment Failed — Sent when an auto-recurring charge fails
  • Payment Retry Notice — Notification of upcoming retry attempt

Customizing Templates

Go to Notifications

Navigate to Administration → Notifications.

Select Template

Click on the notification type you want to customize.

Edit Content

Modify the subject line and email body. Use template variables to personalize:

Preview & Save

Use Send Test Email to preview, then save.
Keep notification emails concise with a clear call-to-action. Members are more likely to act on short, focused messages.

Disabling Notifications

Toggle individual notification types on/off from the notifications settings page. Disabled notifications are never sent.
Disabling Renewal Reminder notifications may lead to higher churn rates. Consider adjusting frequency instead.
